Counting on those two paragons of reliability, accountability and delivery excellence: Amazon and Royal Mail might seem a shakey premise for a Fi Club, but let us press on and assume that on the morning of Friday 8th December a bright, shiny, exciting new console will be turning up on my doorstep looking for a loving home.
I'll be spending the day warming it up and breaking it in ready for the evening session. Those of you who haven't designed your Mii yet, may I suggest you visit the Joystiq demo and get some practice in.
Hopefully I shall have two Wiimotes, two Nunchucks, Wii Sports, Wii Play and Zelda on hand. If we find it's just too much fun I might go and splash out on another couple of controllers ready for the night's entertainment.

I've reserved two more controllers and another nunchuck at Woolies in Cosham, so hopefully we should have 4 wiimotes and 2 nunchucks by Friday night.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking I can knock up some heavy duty wrist straps from kite straps and 300lb bridle line. Everyone except Munchk will have to use them, but he's ok cos he can simply replace my TV with his cold-swap back-up telly.
Love it how Munchk's worst, oldest most junkiest telly is the same as your telly and is better than mine.
