I think it would be good for all of us to voice our favorite game(s) of the year.
Any format and don't feel you have to limit yourself to one title.
I want to hear your thoughts...was Halo3 the best yet, or just dull and over blown?
Did Bioshock raise your submarine or did it sink without trace?
Was Call of Duty 4 both good and good looking or would you rather it Forza'd off?
Tell us your thoughts (or I'll make you play Deal or no Deal!)

Good Post.
In no particular order:
Crackdown, Forza 2, Phantom Hourglass, Burninout Donimator, Harvest Moon Innocent Life, Flat Out, Chibi Robo Park Patrol, Ratchett and Clank Size Matters
What a year for games. Truly a golden age.
Needed doing.
For me it has to be SMG, but then I haven't played Bioshock.
Other faves (in, let's face it, what has to be one of the best years for games ever) are Crackdown, Hourglass, Halo 3, Gears (may be an 06 title, but I only played it this year.)
I may come back to this.
I forgot H3 and if s u d 0 has gears then so do I.
Also: Twiglet Princess (how could I forget?) and Portal. So much this year has been an absolute joy to play.
Zelda Phantom Hourglass for me (and I have started 'getting into' SMG, so that is looking like another GOTY for me)
Man,
It is rare that choosing Games of the Year is so difficult because there are so many of them - but what a great year to be teh gamerz!
It is almost tough to narrow it down, but I reckon, because of the sheer joy they have each given me:
Call of Duty 4 - Compact, titanium-solid single-player and pant-wettingly good online - especially the Hardcore modes.
SMG - I am a total nintendo-n00b - somehow the whole thing has pretty much passed me by, but this is a towering giant of gameplay purity, and I am secretly in love with it.
Halolll - I never even really liked shooters that much, but the sheer genius of the online and the glory of the video playback has made me go back and start 1 and 2.
There're so many... and so many I haven't even played yet - seems almost unfair.
