The isometric view is like a halfway house between the top-down originals and the 3D GTAs of today.

Yeah the texture and style of the buildings and the gunflash were good clues, but the blue vest was a dead giveaway that this was Chinatown Wars.
I'm not enough of a gamer to own a DS, perhaps I'll pick this up when they port it to PS2.
