Those screenies do indeed look lush. I had HM for the GBA (have, actually, just need a GBM to play it on, but not at today's GBM prices. Want it to be a retro Jap Famicom one, too. And I want a pony.)
Where was I? Harvest Moon, GBA, gotcha. I have it, and liked it, I found that it worked well during the staggering monotony of an aeroplane flight, weeding, ho-ing, pimping, grooming the horses, collecting the eggs, skipping through the never ending text spewed at me by the oddly victoriana styled town floozies.
I'd be interested to see what this is like, but, as I did with HM on the GBA, I'm going to wait until it goes platinum and get it for close to rental prices.
Anyone considering buying this upon release?
Not unless it's pulling 9/10 everywhere like Soda Fountain, or whatever it's called.

What is the accepted time for stuff going Platinum? It seems that (except for a couple of one-off discounts like Tesco Jersey) even the first wave of releases, such as Everybody Golf, Lumines, Wipeout etc. are still selling for close to original price.
