For those of us maybe considering a flash cart for the DS, Portal:NDS looks like a valuable resource, with guides, links to hardware outlets, and a catalogue of homebrew apps.
I loved Hexen and Flashback, I even still have a copy of FB for the PSX that I can't bear to give up. Rick Dangerous is also a great game from the Atari ST that was always great fun to play.
Stunning, the list of games is huge already.
