Welcome Misterbleepy

Misterbleepy is a friend of mine that I know through work and my other hobby. (Ssssh)! He's read the blog for a while and comments occasionally. He's a keen gamer and owns several generations of consoles.

The recent price drops got the better of him and he's finally crumbled and bought a 360, so I added him to the sidebar. He got Halo 3 and Burnout Paradise with the box, so hopefully we'll see him on the next BoP friday.

Feel free to add him to your friends list.

  1. Hey Misterbleepy.

    Finally gotcha, did we?

£5 and my Dodd Gross kite says I'm back on the bottom rung by January.

  2. Hello there - thanks for the welcome.
I've been playing video games since they first appeared at my local seaside piers (St. Annes & Blackpool) - I started on Asteroids, as I didn't like (i.e. was rubbish at) Space Invaders, and I've owned a few 'home computers' and games consoles since (though strangely never any Sega hardware). My currrent machines are Wii, DS, the shiny new 360, and an old Gamecube which shortly shall be traded in for as many games and bits for the 360 as I can manage.
I'm impressed so far by the 360, and it's going to be nice to be able to pick up some excellent games secondhand for reasonable money.
Playing online will be a new experience for me (although I did visit Andy's Animal Crossing town once) and I'm quite looking forward to a gentle drive around the streets of Paradise City with you guys ;-)

  4. @ m'b ...
Just noticed Crackdown for £10 from Argos, if you fancy.

Although I'm sure you could easily borrow that from someone.
