Little Big Petersfield

so last friday didn't pan out, and the Fi before was lacking a little something to keep us interested. So this friday, Petersfield will host an extraordinary Fi where we can pull apart Little Big Planet.

Maybe we will finally be able to answer questions such as, does the PS3 have a decent title? Did Matt really buy it for the DVD/BR player?

Now, get your sack on :)

I'll be there! LBP looked so cool in the flesh.

Also, I'd like to go back to the regular schedule as it works nicely with the on-call cycle I'm on at the moment, so unless there are any strenuous objections, that'll be two in a row with the next one at my place?

I is there. Looking forward to it.

Happy to jump weeks, too.

cool. suggest we try the papa johns pizza, see how it goes? I have a few offers at home.

If we can organise the choice beforehand, and you let me know when you guys are heading down the a3, we can arrange for it sharpish!

Assuming people want pizza... :)

forgot to say, i have one other controller so we can coop, but would be good if anyone else knows where we can borrow a controller...

Not so sure we know anyone else with a ps3!!!

I know a couple of people with PS3s, but none local unfortunately.

We'll be ok passing round two, I'm sure.

I take it old Dualshocks don't work?

Oh, yes to pizza. Anything with lots of meat and/or spicy works for me.

Oh - Regarding the on call situation... we have another person on the rota now, so it's going to go to one in three weeks, so I don't really mind if we swap weeks, or get back to the usual times. Whatever's convenient with folks.

Happy to host next week to get back on track.

Thank you muchly, munchk(ly)!

LBP was good fun. There's some lovely details and little touches.

I really fancy making my own level, now!

Obviously after quite a bit of practice and a lot of patience.

Oh, and ignoring the fact that I don't own a PS3, obviously! ;)

Thanks again for the loan of your ipod touch, as well. :-)

Thanks for hosting Munchk.

I must say I less-than-three LBP even more than I thought I would. It's a testament to the game that we spent 20 minutes in the pre-game menu before even playing a level.

It's certainly Something Special in the world of gaming. We can only hope that we get something to rival it on the 360 at some point.

I'll be looking at post-Xmas PS3 deals on the strength of that game alone.
