Anyone hoping to indulge in a massive Halo 3 session over the next few days better make sure they're picking up their game locally. Reports are sliding in to Fi HQ that many of the special edition disks are being ruined by badly designed packaging, and rumours abound that even pauper edition disks are afflicted with disk read errors. This has pretty much made my mind up to get the game from Tesco to facilitate rapid replacement. All that can stop me now is RROD!

Awesome fun, but I'm rusty as hell and I got shot too many times, ghatdamnit.
I suffered a bit of lag when in the matchmaking games with the bigger boys, and spent ages shooting people and dishing out my own fumbled brand of smackdown whilst inwardly seething that I only had one kill.
This AM I went into the settings on my sexy black bt home hub (bringing bang up milf's to gormless tw@s for two years now) and changed the settings to port forward traffic to my xbox properly.
Now my phat pipe XBL connex is humming along nicely like a greased hamster in an aussie rock star's tushie. No more droppage.
Innaressing... What ports did you forward?
MS seem to suggest it's not necessary in most circumstances?
Had my first evar disk freeze up last night on H3, and that is just the standard edition. :(
