A bunch of kids slag off the games we played when we were a bunch of kids... And you know what? I reckon they're right.
On Adventure:
Bobby: A duck ate me.EGM: What ate you?
Parker: A pink duck.
EGM: What do you think this character's name is?
Parker: Dot. Or Adventure?
On Mike Tyson's Punch-Out:
Garret: That's not Mike Tyson. Are you kidding me? Mike Tyson does not have a handlebar moustache, and he's not white.
EGM: [Laughing] So those are the two things that make you think that's not Mike Tyson?
Garret: Yeah, plus this guy's wearing pants.
Some gems in here.

I read the first series when it came out, and the second round is more of the same isn't it? I think I was one of the angry people who mailed in to give these young whippersnappers a piee of my mind.
I'd be interested to see what British kids thought about old games -- never mind all these over sugared fat merkin kids talking about Gunstar Heroes, what about British kids playing Jet Set Willy, Arcadia, Trans Am, Harrier Attack, Way Of The Exploding Fist, Deus Ex Machina, 3D Monster Maze and Lords of Midnight?
Hey. HEY! Snap out of it -- before you go off and download a Spectrum Emulator and try to relive the good old days, remember that those games truly suck by today's standards, and we're supposed to laugh at them. Sure there's the odd classic, but nothing worth playing.
Apart from Super Mario Brothers, of course. And Zelda.
Pilotwings.
Oh yeah, and Rock n Roll Racing.
Ach, forget it.
I have played recently (in the last 2 years) JSW, Tornado Low Level, Ant Attack, Manic Miner, The Hobbit and Lords of Midnight, plus more, on my GBA. Some of them were surprisingly playable (some of them are not-surprisingly hard on a 10 button console, like The Hobbit - so I played it on my PC instead).
Strangely Manic Miner, which I never completed before, was a walk in the park, although the save function did help I was still able to complete it with the allocated lives.
I will also admit to watching this all the way through last weekend.
3D Monster Maze - that's ZX81! I remember when that company somehow pioneered 'Hi-Res' (ie single pixel dots) on the ZX81. The game sucked but the effect was amazing for me at the time.
