Hi all.
Well if no one else wants it (hint hint), I'll bagsie this FiDay 12th October.
Usual time and place. Bring your bits and pieces and DS's and etc.
But I'm calling a cease-fire on snacks, just bring some dips.
See you then.
Also, I've noticed that my local Blockbusters have recently had posters up advertising Bioshock and Halo 3 for £34.99 each.
This is the cheapest price I've seen, including online.
If they keep putting big new releases at this price, they might be worth checking out for fourth coming games.

Also, a big congrats to JalSaviour for breaking the 2000 gamerpoints mark!
Come ON s u d 0 your nearly there!
Nice one, cookie, I there. Hopefully I wont have to walk home this time... ;)
Munchk did say today he was going to bagsy tonight when he got in...
Just sayin' y'know?
I got H3 at BB and it was £35 on the day. I talked about future releases and the manager thought the big titles may well continue at that price.
If munchk feels that he would prefer this FiDay, he is welcome to bagsie my bagsie. :)
Or he can bagsie the following FiDay.
(nudge, nudge)
;)
evening all, apologies for my grabbing this one. Been a bit of a hectic work week.
Mrs Munchk once again has the car, so I will have to remote in...
unless i can claim a late fi :), its still before friday, right? hehe
I shall be remoting it - might not be on til later though - moving in proving bloody hectic and having to find hours for programming and stuff in the evening :(
Accidentally broke the 2000 mark last night when I FINISHED THE FIGHT! on Heroic. By some margin, actually, as finishing up at Heroic grabs you 125 for Heroic and 125 for Normal, plus you get 'em at the same time as the 50 for completing the last story mission, so I got a message saying something like '3 Achievements unlocked for 300 points' or summet. whoosh!
Ready to coop legendary it now, but haven't even found 1 frigging skull yet, so should probably do something about that.
Moved Rob up into second position! Nice playing Rob, seems like a GP bonanza on finishing H3.
I'm enjoying the single player, and finding Heroic a challenge, but not impossible. It's refreshing to find that there are sometimes a couple of different ways of achieving objectives, which is more than I expected from the game.
Merci - I have a feeling my whorepoint 2nd place will be shortlived as you reach halolll climax. Should probably try and stay one step ahead by finishing legendary or doing loads of stuff online but... not sure I can be arsed. Might finally get that last gangbody on Crackdown and then send you the disk back, sud0.
Who is up for some Halo 3 Forge stuff later? Me and sud0 could do with a little practice in the art of approach and engagement, as well as map familiarisation, weapons training and stuff like that. Trouble is, by the time I get on, you'll all be half-cut, and we'll just end up bundling into Big Team Battles.
Quite looking forward to it, really!
Nice one k o o k 1 e. Another fun Fi.
Did you guys manage to get a win after I'd gone?
We managed a string of losses after you left, one of which we lost 50-18 or something like that, prompting calls of 'where is sud0 when you need him' etc.
But then just before bedtime the matchmaking system threw us up some non-ninjas, and we managed to scrape a 50-49 victory on Guardian, and then a decent 44-34 victory on Construct.
p.s.
Just in time for bed. The Guardian game was really close - a flukey grenade shield weakener and double-melee kill saved us at the end from 49-48 down to that 50-49 win.
Construct was a much better affair, with us almost acting like a team, rotating who was shooting around corners, really using grenades and explosives a lot and even munchk racking up some sword kills while I Battle-Rifled a load of people to death, although my favourite of my 29 (!) kills was a triple kill with the missile pod, a clip of which I shall upload later.
