Return to Vice City next for PSP?

PSP World reports that Rockstar have filed three patents indicating that the next GTA installment for the PSP will be set in Vice City.

From the article:

This would make quite a bit of sense, since it would mirror the order that was used on the PS2 in GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Sndreas.
I for one would welcome this turn of events as VC was an incredible game in terms of style and humour, and it would also seem to promise that one day we'll be able to visit San Andreas on our portables too.

Guys, I'm really encouraged by the last few days of blogging for 'Fi Club. I was under the impression that the PSP was in a rut and that there were no decent games coming out, but these few posts show that there is a bright future.

I am *still* playing GTALCS, and totally enjoying it. I'm sick of the music now, but the game itself is great. GTAVCS is going to be great -- I wonder if I'll have finished LCS before it comes out?

Re: the music. You are aware of this, right?

It's quite a circumspect method of putting your own music into a game, but it's written and supported by Rockstar, and definitely works.

Thanks, Doo. Reckon that'd be great for me if I could give a URL instead of a mem-o-stick full of MP3s. That sort of thing makes me wish that the PSP1000 series came out with the 4GB flash drive instead of the PSP2000s.

It also burns me that the 2GB SD card that I just bought for my phone isn't in anyway compatible to the similar sized, shaped, massed and coloured mem-o-sticks that the PSP needs. Flippin proprietary storage formats, monkey grabbin suttin fruttin*!'~___carrier lost.___
