....We give you a Price.
Well, almost.
Amazon.com have Rock Band listed as $169.99, released on 20/11/07.
Linkage! Clikkit bitches!
Amazon.co.uk and Play do not have a price or date as yet. This should mean about £99.99 in the UK but will probably end up being £119.99 to £139.99.
Still, should be better than we were speculating the other week.
The set only contains one guitar though, along with microphone, drums and game.
Should be supported with down-loadable content in the future.
Metallica have, apparently, signed up to allow quite a few of their tracks to be used, as well as Enter Sandman which is on the game disc.
Looking at the included tracks, there's lots there worth playing, in my humble rock-addled view.
And with Guitar Hero III out soon as well, my pants are near saturation!( "Nurse....Nurse....I'm wet again. Please change me!" )
I'll still be beaten by Mrs. Cookie, though.
Who would have thought that she'd turn out to be such a wizard on the (plastic imitation) guitar?

Sorry. Linky doesn't work.
I always k0k them up!
amazon.com then Rock Band.
Jesus, that's a lot of money. That much dosh would have got you a SNES in it's day, and before too long a whole Wii. That's one major luxury game pak.
I take it the old guitars will be compatible?
Are component sets available? Like, could I buy drums and the game on their own?
THANKS for sprucing up my post!
Looks good, Cheers. :)
The amazon page the post links to has drums, microphone and game all listed separately.
Not sure about old guitars.
I would have thought so, as it's done by Harmonix.
I fancy getting the 360 version for DLC. I currently don't have a 360 guitar, though.
Guitar update...
The Rock Band guitar that comes bundled has two sets of buttons on the fret-board. One set in the same position as GH, and another set higher up the fret board (closer to the guitar body) for "solos".
I don't know if this excludes the previous guitars. I think it would be a foolish move to do so, though.
Both Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band were great, but I liked Rock Band better.
